12-07-2010 PROJECT: T-SYSTEM IN CALCINATE, BERGAMO ewo is using the “T-System” for large-area lighting using LED technology for the first time for the lighting of a central traffic node in Calcinate in Italy. The project, developed in collaboration with the Battestini planning consultancy and commissioned by the Province of Bergamo, sets new standards in energy-efficient lighting by using 40% less energy than conventional solutions. 26-03-2010 PRESENTING: NEW PRODUCTS, LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS On the occasion of the Light+Building fair, ewo is presenting a series of product innovations for road and spatial lighting that is based upon highly-efficient LED system modules. 29-01-2010 IF PRODUCT DESIGN AWARD FOR UP ewo has won the iF Public Design Award 2010 for its "Up" product range. This award is internationally considered one of the most renowned design prizes. The product range was developed in collaboration with the Norwegian design team, "Norway Says" and encompasses lighting and furniture elements from bollards to bicycle stands through to a bench.
